Haitian Heritage Cultural Month:  You are invited to celebrate with us! The month of May is referred to Haitians all over the world celebrating Haitian History, Haitian pride, and Haitian culture, a celebration that started in Boston, New York, and Florida. The celebration is now recognized here in Orlando, and proclaimed by City Commissioner Samuel B. Ings, and City Mayor Buddy Dyer.  For the past years Haitian American Art Network, Inc., and City Commissioner Samuel B. Ings District 6 have been celebrating Haitian Heritage Cultural Month Awareness. We are inviting you to be part of our Haitian Heritage weekend celebration. Starting on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 6:00 PM. Haitian American Art Network, Inc., and City Commissioner Honorable Samuel B. Ings, of District 6 will present a Reception/Conference Haitian Flag Day Celebration. For the past years this event has been one of the biggest highlight in the community celebrating Haitian history, heritage, culture, and pride. This will be an evening celebrating and honoring those who have greatly contributed in the Diaspora communities. Guest speakers, Entertainment, and a special presentation about the importance of the Haitian Flag, and our Haitian Heritage. On Friday, May 19, 2017 at 6:00 PM Dinner and a Movie, Q & A session. Haitian American Art Network, Inc., and UNIMIX Films, LLC., present a romantic comedy Writer/Director Haitian Born Patrick Ulysse. An all Star Cast of Haitian descent. What a better way to celebrate Haitian Heritage Cultural Month. Both events will be held at the First Haitian Baptist Church of Orlando located at 4701 Lenox Blvd, Orlando, FL 32805. Tickets are available for the Orlando Red Carpet Movie Screening.
